Temple Of Fire

Temple of Fire
Amidst a snowy winter forest, the Temple of Fire stood, its crimson walls a stark contrast to the pristine landscape. Pigs and horses frolicked together in playful harmony, their laughter a testament to the temple’s enchantment. Above, a massive fish soared through the sky, defying gravity. The haunting notes of “Lacrimosa” resonated through the space, uniting the surreal scene in an otherworldly serenade.

The “Narrators of Space” project represents a personal exploration into the creation of narrative spaces. It commenced after I completed my Master’s thesis on narrative strategies within the context of space. In this research, narratives were chosen as the starting point for shaping spaces, with each narrative dictating the selection of a corresponding location. Subsequently, a process of pattern recognition was initiated to translate these narratives into spatial design. During this pattern recognition phase, motifs related to the narrative space emerged, eventually transforming into architectural elements.
From this point forward, the design and integration of these spatial patterns and physical elements began, aimed at creating an architectural whole. The project advanced into the scenario development and animation sequencing stage, with designs synchronizing with a preconceived musical score that would set the tone for the video. Finally, camera movements, rendering of animation shots, and mixing and mastering were executed to produce these videos.
In these projects, I pursue two primary objectives. The first is to exercise the formulation of a design framework based on narrative strategies, with the hope of making it comprehensible to others. The second goal is to convey the emotional aspects of the stories presented within the medium. It is through the magic of cinema that we aim to transfer these emotions to the audience, creating a powerful connection.
