Hayate-no Town
We are excited to present the visionary master plan for the Boumehen Residential District, a transformative development that embraces the concept of infill development. This project aims to revitalize the brownfield area, formerly occupied by farmer fields, into a thriving residential district that harmoniously integrates commercial and residential landmarks, public spaces, parks, landscapes, and interconnect routes. Inspired by the rich pre-ecological heritage of the region, our design endeavors to create a sustainable and inviting living environment for future residents.
The Boumehen Residential District spans over 12 hectares, carefully allocated to meet the diverse needs of the community. The master plan incorporates a mix of commercial and residential zones, providing a dynamic atmosphere where residents can live, work, and thrive. The inclusion of public spaces, parks, and landscapes fosters a strong sense of community, offering ample opportunities for recreation, relaxation, and social interactions.
Drawing inspiration from the area’s pre-ecological past, our design pays homage to the region’s historical roots while embracing sustainable practices. The integration of eco-friendly elements and green spaces throughout the district aims to create a seamless connection between nature and urban living. By incorporating sustainable infrastructure and promoting eco-consciousness, we aim to minimize the ecological footprint of the development and enhance the overall well-being of its residents.
Through meticulous planning and consultation with stakeholders, including heritage and nature groups, we have ensured that the development is sensitively integrated into its surroundings. Our pilot detailed heritage study and Environmental Impact Study (EIS) have guided us in preserving the natural and built environment. We have taken great care to contain the development and its supporting infrastructure predominantly within the brownfield area, minimizing any potential negative environmental impact.
With the Boumehen Residential District, we envision a vibrant and sustainable community that seamlessly blends the past with the present. This project will not only provide much-needed housing and commercial opportunities but also serve as a testament to the possibilities of repurposing underutilized spaces and revitalizing our urban landscapes.
