Dental Clinic

The challenge is based on the reinterpretation of a Dental Clinic in the search for a free form and spatial character. The site is located on the 4th floor of a typical building in the center of Tehran. The Clinic requires a new image to provoke unique atmospheres and new sensations.

The desire to create a distinguished space in the city, a more paused, soothing space of reflection, led to the discovery of the importance of silence and a simple form full of life, experimentation where smooth surfaces sustain the selection of built space. That experimentation is essentially realized with the intuitive architectural element, which is space. Working with space is determined by reflections, paths, light, perception, transparencies, and fluidity. The mass, composed of a summary of high glass, potentiates the reflections and the vibrations of the light by creating a perception of space constantly mutating. The search for a timeless space, with a plenitude of senses, where light is filtered in different ways, gives poetry to spaces, dignifying them.
